The Best badger hair is comprised of tapered, conically shaped hair. Lighter in color than pure, it varies from medium brown to gray. This particular grade of badger hair is for the shaver willing to spend a bit more to have a brush with greater water retention and somewhat gentler address to the skin than pure badger during lathering.
