Rosemary is king when it comes to hair and scalp care. It helps strengthen the hair, stimulate the follicles, and combat dry and flaky scalps reducing dandruff. Nettle works gently to stimulate the scalp’s circulation. It oxygenates the hair follicles and strengthens hair fibers. Nettle promotes hair growth as well as hair health, enhancing sheen and fullness for any type of hair. Essential oils of tea tree, lavender, and cedarwood have been added for their benefits to both hair and scalp. To get a good lather, rub the soap bar across your wet hair several times until you achieve a good lather, and then gently continue to massage the hair and scalp insuring the lather has covered your entire head. You may want to let the lather remain on your head for a minute or so before rinsing thoroughly. What’s truly great about this soap is its versatility; it can also be used on the body and the face making it a superb all-over cleanser. A manly-sized handmade bar that measures approximately 3½” x 2½” x 1” and weighs between 5.0 and 5.5 ounces. This soap is hand-poured and rough-cut. This process naturally produces irregularities in shape and surface texture (characteristics of truly handmade soap) but does not diminish the efficacy of the soap. $6.50
NOTE: The first few times you use all-natural soap in place of commercial shampoo, your hair will feel limp and might lie a little flat but that effect will pass. It’s because your hair is used to all that extra build up left by whatever chemicals are in your typical shampoo. There will be a transition period while the hair and scalp adjust and detox from all those chemicals. If switching to a shampoo bar after having used many chemicals for years and years, it may take a few weeks for the hair to adjust. Further details: • About cold processed soap
