Merkur's Classic Long Handle double edge razor is ruggedly styled with a hand-tooled, high-polish chrome finish. It is the traditional alternative to today's twin and triple blade catridge razors. The non-adjustable shaving head measures 1-3/4" long x 1" wide. The handle is 3-7/8" long x 3/8" diameter with an incised cross-hatch design for sure grip. The handle of this three-piece razor with short-screw mounting is turned to unscrew the top plates for loading the blade. For some men, a long handle provides better control than the traditional short handle version. Overall length of the long handle is 4-1/8", and it weighs approximately 1.9 ounces.
