Merkur's Classic double edge Chunky razor is the essence of modern design in a safety razor. Its non-adjustable head measures 1-5/8" long x 1" wide, and is available only with Straight Edge (often called Safety Bar). The stylish chunky handle is 3-1/2" long and the two indented grip rings are 3/4" in diameter. The size and configuration of the handle allow for a secure grip, easy control, and a good amount of aural feedback (i.e. you can hear the whiskers being shorn). Overall length of the Chunky is 3-7/8", and it weighs approximately 3.6 ounces. The handle of this three-piece razor with short-screw mounting is turned to unscrew the top plates for loading the blade.
